Abstract

Use of the cathode ray oscilloscope in the high school physics class has, in many instances, been overlooked by the high school physics teacher as a means of increasing the student's understanding of certain electrical phenomena. In many cases, the teacher may not be well acquainted with the use of an oscilloscope and, very often, the teacher may feel that the cost of such an instrument is beyond the limits of the typical high school science budget.
