In this day of rapid advancement in every field of activity, the public demands efficiency. Efficiency in any profession requires systematic, intensive training. The foremost educators of the world today are recognizing and trying to meet the situations in the field in its broadest sense. The "test of opportunity" is being withdrawn, and the privileges of the best in our higher institutions are being placed within the reach of all. This advantage is being made possible through a better teachers training and through the services rendered by Extension Divisions and Summer Schools in the Universities and Colleges over the entire nation.
