Project Summary

Business happens when people come together and enjoy a cup of coffee, according to Kauffman Foundation founder Ewing Kauffman. Three individuals from Cedar Falls agreed and launched 1 Million Cups in November 2014. The once weekly, now monthly, events have helped hundreds of local business owners grow their businesses, learn from one another, and strengthen connections within the community. As the Cedar Valley 1 Million Cups project expands its reach, it will contribute to the mission of the university by fostering collaboration and fortifying relationships throughout the community.
