Welcome to the 7th Annual African American Children and Families Conference, 2018. We at the University of Northern Iowa are proud and honored to offer many interesting, engaging and culturally relevant voices connecting the voices of the past to the present and future. Culturally relevant speakers, workshops and open conversations will highlight this year's conference. Lessons learned from the past will make this conference a positive, cultural and educational sharing of ideas and experiences for attendees. Our theme this year is "Pass It On: Lessons Learned from Our Ancestors."
