Abstract
Over the past several years I have watched with special interest our appeal for increased membership from the ranks of our elementary teachers of the state. This appeal has been answered with increased numbers of elementary teachers taking active roles in the various science activities sponsored in whole or in part by the Iowa Science Teachers Section of the Iowa Academy.
